Hmmm......so here we are again. Dry dry dry. Mid April and the pastures are pretty brown, the ground like concrete and the soil bone dry. The cattle are still doing well, as we had them in superb condition up until Xmas. We have everything ready to start sowing winter forage crops, but we need some rain. We have sown some turnips in Paddock 3, just to get the sowing season started (and with fingers crossed...we are scheduled to start getting rain this weekend).
